Camel Trekking in the White Desert

In the west of Egypt, near the Libyan border, is located the famous White Desert. A region of mineral sculptures which form in the middle of the desert a strange landscape, born by erosion and by the eternal breath of wind. The starting point of the camel trekking is the Bahariya oasis with its dates palm trees and its olive-trees. Sources of hot water rich in mineral invite to a well-being bath.

Desert Safari in Egypt

Itinerary in details:

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrival at Cairo airport, assistance during entry visa formalities. Transfer and overnight in the hotel in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo - Bahariya Oasis Safari

Transfer to the Bahariya oasis in Egypt , and departure by Jeep to the meet the camels. Then, the big moment: Initiation of our trip in the direction of the White Desert. In the evening, campfire and night under the stars.

Day 3 - 6: White Desert Safari

Bedouins lead us pleasantly through their fatherland.

The White Desert with its strange sculptures surrounded by golden fine sand, is unique in the desert of the Sahara. We sleep in camping in idyllic places. We have time in sufficiency to ride our camel, to discover the stones, to enjoy the splendid lay of the sun and to photograph.

From time to time a Jeep provides us with pasture for the camels, which also enables us to spend the night in isolated places.

Day 7: Return to Cairo

Return to the Bahariya oasis and transfer to Cairo. Night in the hotel in Cairo.

Day 8: Departure from Cairo (*)

Transfer to the airport in Cairo and return flight from Egypt to your country .
